  23. any courier modem (except for the "us robotics courier 2400") is egliable
  24. to be upgraded to a v.everything modem, which is the same thing as a 
  25. "Us robotics courier v.34 DUAL STANDARD", for either $249 for a modem
  26. trade in or $199 for a daughterboard that fits on some of the newer
  27. models [square led's] last november or so HST modulation was added
  28. in a flash rom update so basically any courier v.everything you connect
  29. too (which is what most isp's use) would give you a 14.4/16.8 HST
  30. connect..

  32. so therefor your incorrect. IF anyone in the united states has a old
  33. courier hst laying around.. get it upgraded.. its only 199-249 dollars, heh..
  34. order the upgrades from the bbs at 1 708 982 5092 and type TRADEIN at
  35. the main menu. enter your serial number, shipping address, etc.
  36. sometimes it may take a little while to ship, like 30-60 days or so
  37. but i have heard they are shipping them faster now. its a heck of
  38. a deal. and remember: DO NOT send in any OLD MODEMS or OLD DAUGHTERCARDS
  39. until you recieve your new modem first! when you get your new v.everything
  40. then is the time to send in your old modem
